More about the classes

Did you know that people are welcome to join classes at any time? Each class lasts for two hours and consists of meditation practice (including instruction) in the first hour, followed by a snack break and a lecture on Buddhist principles in the second hour. Classes are taught by Venerable Master Jian Sheng, Abbess of Buddha Gate Monastery.  For classes it is recommended that participants wear comfortable, modest attire and socks. Optional meditation clothing may be obtained at the monastery.
